The Current Situation, Problems and the Countermeasures of the Suburb Inhabitance of the Urban Population in Big Cities of China

Taking big city such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shenyang, Dalian as examples, this paper summarizes the characters and causes of population suburbanization in China. The paper point out the positive and negative impacts of population suburbanization , the differences between China and West countries in population suburbanization, and some countermeasures we should take in urban planning.
