Abstract
Objective: To prepare 12-hours Sustained-Release Marine Tablets, and to evaluate its cumulative release ratio in vitro. Methods: Marine Sustained-Release Tablets were prepared with HPMC and H-HPC as matrix,The cumulative release ratio in vitro the tablets was determined. Results: The release behavior of the prepared sustained-release tablets followed the Higuchi equation, comparing to the ordinary tablet,Marine Sustained-Release Tablets had an obvious sustained-release effect, and the correlation between the in vitro release and the in vivo absorption was good. Conclusion: Matrine in vitro release of sustained-release tablets was slow, steady,to the design requirements, this could help to enhance Oxymatrine efficacy, reduce side effects with low toxicity.
