Abstract

Methods of solvent extraction,Soxhlet extraction and ultrasonic circulation extraction were used for the extraction of total flavonoids from pyracantha fortuneana fruits. Static absorption was adopted to screen the optimum macroporous resin for separating total flavonoids. Dynamic absorption was introduced to study the conditions for purifying total flavonoids by using the selected optimum macroporous adsorption resin. The analysis of the contents of total flavonoids was accomplished with UV spectrophotometry. The results showed that circulative ultrasonic wave extraction was the fastest and the most efficient. The optimum macroporous resin was D101 as well as the optimum purification conditions were 0. 899 8mg·mL-1of the sampling liquid concentration,pH 4 of the sample solution acidity,5 BV of the sample liquid volume,2. 5 mL·min-1of the sampling velocity, and 2. 0 mL·min-1of the elution speed with 5 BV 70% ethanol. Under these conditions, the purity of total flavonoids increased from the original 9. 00% to 28. 11%.
