Application of Starch Grafted Acrylamide in Paper-making Wastewater Treatment

Abstract
Application of starch grafted acrylamide in paper-making wastewater treatment was studied.Some factors of flocculation of wastewater were discussed,such as the adding amount of flocculant,PH value of wastewater,flocculating temperature,and flocculating time.These results showed that the optimal conditions were as follows: the adding amount of flocculant was 10ml,flocculating temperature was 40℃,pH value of wastewater was higher than 9.In addition,the flocculation of starch grafted acrylamide and that of poly-acrylamide was compared.It showed that the flocculation of starch grafted acrylamide was better than that of poly-acrylamide.
