Abstract
In the present paper, the grafting reaction of starch and acrylamide by 60Coγ pre-irradiation was carried out. The grafted copolymer was identified by IR spectrum. The flocculating property was affected by the concentration of graft copolymer and flocculating time. When applied as flocculant to treat sewage, the effect was better than polyacrylamide. And the effluent could accord with the standard.
