Abstract

Objective:To detect the influence of IL-1β and DEX on the proliferation of cultured fibroblasts from normal oral mucosa and oral lichen planus mucosa.Method:IL-1β and DEX of three concentration gradient were set and added to cultured fibroblasts of normal oral mucosa and oral lichen planus mucosa.MTT was adopted to assess the effects of IL-1β and DEX on the proliferation of fibroblasts.Result:IL-1 can promote the proliferation of both oral lichen planus fibroblasts and normal oral mucosa fibroblasts, and it is concentration-dependent.Otherwise,DEX inhibited the proliferation of the two kinds of fibroblasts, and it's also concentration dependent.Conclusion:Interleukin-1 could promote fibroblast proliferation, and dexamethasone inhibit fibroblast proliferation.
