The efficacy of Azithromycin in treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumonia

Abstract

Objective:To observe the efficacy of Azithromycin in treatment of children with Mycoplasma pneumonia.Methods:100 cases of children with Mycoplasma pneumonia in our hospital were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,in the treatment group,54 patients were treated with Azithromycin;in the control group,46 cases were treated with Erythromycin,the efficacy of two groups were observed.Results:There was a significant difference about the total effective rate in the two groups (P0.05).Conclusion:The two kinds of programs can effectively control the symptoms and make Mycoplasma pneumoniae disappear,but Azithromycin treatment course is short,less obvious side effects.It 's an effective method that children with Mycoplasma pneumonia are treated by Azithromycin.
