Abstract
[Objective] To discuss the safety and efficacy of transurethral plasmakinetic vaporization of prostate(TUPKVP). [Methods] 120 patients with symptomatic BPH were threated by TUPKVP. [Results] Less blood loss and no transurethral resection syndrom and permanent urinary incontinence. All Patients were followed up of 1~9 months postoperatively. The peak flow rate increased from 8.6 mL/s to 19.8 mL/s. The IPSS decreased from 26 to 9.6. Residual urine avolume decreased from 73 mL to 10.0 mL. [Conclusions] TUPKVP has the advantages of high safety, less complications and good efficacy.
