Abstract
Objective To assess the safety and efficacy of transurethral plasmakinetic vaporization of prostate(TUPKVP).Methods Thirty-six 36patinets(means age of 72.5 years, range from 64to 87)with symptomatic BPH were treated by TUPKVP.Results All patients were followed to of 3-6 month postoperatively. The peak flow rate increased from(7.5±2.0)ml/s to(14.2±3.1)ml/s;The IPSS decreased from(26.5±5.5) to(16.3±4.5),Residual urine volume decreased from(130±40)ml to(15.5±5.5)ml.Conclusion It is suggested that TUPKVP is effective, high safety and less complications.
