Abstract
Objective In order to develop comprehensive utilization of Salvia miltiorrhiza to investigate the extraction technology of the liposoluble components from its herb residue. Methods With tanshinone Ⅱ A as index, adopting orthogonal design to optimize the extraction process. Results The optimal conditions of percolation extraction were namely using drug powder of 20 meshes added alcohol 95% of 16 fold amount with the flow rate of 1.0mL/min.The optimal refluxing was, added alcohol 95% of 10 fold amount and extracting for 1.5 h.Conclusion There was no signifi cant difference between the results with the two methods. The result had shown that the comprehensive utilization of Salvia miltiorrhiza was feasible.
