Clinical observation of Chinese medicine Huangqijianzhong decoction in the treatment of gastric ulcer with insufficiency of spleen-yang and gastral-yang

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine Huangqijianzhong decoction in the treatment of gastric ulcer with insufficiency of spleen-yang and gastral-yang.Methods 86 cases with insufficient of spleen-yang and gastral-yang gastric ulcer were randomly divided into two groups:Huangqi jianzhong decoction treatment group(observation group,n=43) and conventional western medicine group(control group,n=43),patients of the treatment group were given huangqi jianzhong decoction and the control group were treated by omeprazole capsules and kalafungin,and treatment cycles of the two groups were both 8 weeks.Results In the observation group,35 patients were cured,and total effective rate was 93.0%,while in the control group,28 cases were cured,and total effective rate was 76.7%,and there was significant difference between two groups(P0.05).There were not obvious adverse reactions in two groups.After a period of 12 months follow-up,2 cases recurred(recurrence rate 5.7%) in observation group,and 5 cases recurred in conventional control group(recurrence rate 17.8%),and there was significant difference between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicine huangqi jianzhong decoction is very effective in the treatment of insufficient spleen-yang and gastral-yang gastric ulcer with lower adverse reaction rate and recurrence rate comparing to treating by western medicine merely.
