Observation on Effect of Small Jianzhong Soup with Western Medicine in Treating Cases with Peptic Ulcer

Objective To explore the clinical effect of peptic ulcer (PU) treated with Xiaojianzhong decoction and western medicine. Methods Sixty cases of PU in our hospital were random divided into observation group and control group. Both groups were given conventional western medicine therapy, based on which the observation group received the Xiaojianzhong decoction therapy. Results The total efficiency in observation group was obviously higher than that in control group, the difference between which was statistically significant (P 0.05). The ulcer contraction area, hp eradication rate and recurrence rate in observation group were all superior to that in control group, the differences of which between two groups were statistically significant (P 0.05). Both groups didn't have obvious side effects. Conclusion Xiaojianzhong decoction in combination with western medicine for PU has a better clinic therapeutic effect on PU, which is worthy of clinical application.
