The Influence of the Abnormal Blood Flow Ratio of the Umbilical Artery on the Pregnancy Outcomes

Objective To study the influence of the abnormal blood flow ratio of the umbilical artery on the pregnancy outcomes.Methods The abnormal blood flow ratio of the umbilical artery in 112 cases was compared with the control group.Results The incidence rate of newborns weight which was lower than 2500g was significantly different between the abnormal group and the normal group(P0.01).Rates of the maternal-fetal complications and other pathologic pregnancy,such as fetal distress,IUGR,pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome and oligohydramnios,were obviously different between two groups (P0.01).Conclusion It is of highly practical significance to predict the outcomes of the abnormal pregnancy through the detection of fetal artery blood flow.Strengthening detection during the pregnancy helps to improve the maternal-infant prognosis.
