Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between umbilical blood flow changes and the pregnancy outcomes in pregnancy induced hypertension. Methods The umbilical blood flow parameters in the placental insertion point including the S/D,pulsatility index(PI),resistance index(RI),the mode of delivery, the average birth weight of newborns,Apgar scores were analyzed in 86 pregnancy induced hypertension patients. Results PI,RI and S/D in the pregnancy induced hypertension group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.01).In moderate to severe pregnancy induced hypertension group with preeclampsia and eclampsia, the incidence of Caesarean section, asphyxia neonatorum, fetal distress, low birth weight were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.01).And the levels in mild group were not significant than those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion The umbilical blood flow parameters in the placental insertion point could directly reflect the effects of pregnancy induced hypertension to fetal. As sensitive indicators for determining the fetal status,Umbilical blood flow parameters including PI,RI and S/D could be used to guide the choice of mode of delivery and improve the perinatal survival quality.
