Abstract

Objective To study the efficacy of stereotactic aspiration in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods Patients were divided into two groups by paired design. One group was treated by stereotatic aspiration. The haematoma suctions were repetitious, and the blood pressures were adjusted. The control group was treated medicine only, such as decreasing encephalic pressure and protecting neurocytes. Comparing the two groups. Results The mortality rate in group of stereotactic aspiration (15.6%) was lower than that in the control group (27.0%, P0.05). Stereotactic aspiration accelerated haematoma absorbed in the found of CT. The six months follow-up study showed that the disability rate in the group of stereotatic aspiration was lower than the control group. Conclusions Stereotactic aspiration in the treatment of hypertension cerebral hemorrhage is a rational choice.
