Abstract

Objective To compare the clinical results of stereotactic aspiration with unsurgical treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods A prospective study of 110 hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage cases was performed,in which all cases were divided into two groups by given criterion.Of them 48 treated with stereotactic aspiration, and 62 with unsurgical treatment as control group. Results Aspirated hematoma time and recovery time of anepia and hemiplegia in surgical group with cerebral stereotactic apparatus significantly shorted than those in control group(P0.01).Self-care ability in patients after 3 months from attacked in surgical group was significantly improved than that in control group(P0.01).Conclusion Stereotactic aspiration significantly improves hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage patients' cerebral functions and lowers the morbidity of disability, indicating that stereotactic aspiration is superior to unsurgical treatment for hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.
