The Influence of Hemorrheology During Monthly Period on Primary Dysmenorrhea Cases Treated by Drug-paste Interposed Moxibustion on Shenque(RN8)

Objective:To discuss the function mechanism of drug-paste interposed moxibustion on Shenque(RN8) on primary dysmenorrhea which types are cold retention and stagnation of qi and blood.Methods:86 cases of primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into a Drug-paste Interposed Moxibustion Group and a Western Medicine Group,43 cases in each group.The Drug-paste Interposed Moxibustion Group treated by drug-paste interposed moxibustion on Shenque(RN8) and the Western Medicine Group treated by western medicine.The hemorrheology was measured before and after treatment.Results:43 cases in Drug-paste Interposed Moxibustion Group that 15 cases cured,18 cases markedly effective,7 cases well-turned,3 cases of invalidity,the total effective rate was 93%;43 cases in Western Medical Group that 6 cases cured,9 cases markedly effective,18 cases well-turned,10 cases of invalidity,the total effective rate was 76.7%;Compared with the Western Medical Group,clinical efficacy differences have remarkable significance(P0.01);And on the forward curative efficacy,the Drug-paste Interposed Moxibustion Group is also better than the Western Medical Group(P0.01).The hemorrheology demonstrated: The value of plasma viscosity,whole blood high/low specific viscosity,plasma specific viscosity,deformation index of RBC,the erythrocyte volume lowered significantly after drug-paste interposed moxibustion treatment;The value of aggregation index of RBC raised significantly after drug-paste interposed moxibustion treatment.Compared with the Western Medical Group,the differences have statistics significance(P0.01).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of drug-paste interposed moxibustion on Shenque(RN8) on primary dysmenorrhea which type are cold retention and stagnation of qi and blood is better than western medicine;The pathogenesis of primary dysmenorrhea which type are cold retention and stagnation of qi and blood is related on high thick,mounts,congeals,collection of blood.It suggests that acupuncture and moxibustion treatment can not only apparently improve hemorrheology,reduce blood viscosity,improve the womb microcirculation but also relieve pain.
