Abstract
Objective:Discussion on mechanism of medicine-separated moxibustion on Shenque piont treating primary dysmenorrhea was made.Methods:90 cases of primary dysmenorrhea patients were randomly divided into 3 groups with 30 cases in each group:salt-separated moxibustion group,medicine-separated moxibustion group,group of Western medicine,and a blank control group.Result:Comparisons of medicine-separated moxibustion group(total effective rate was 96.7%)and the salt-separated moxibustion group(total effective rate was 90.0%),the salt-separated moxibustion group and the Western group(76.7%)had significance(P0.05).Comparison of salt-separated moxibustion group and Western medicine group had significance(P0.01).PGF2α comparison of medicine-separated moxibustion group and the salt-separated group as well as the PGF2α comparison of salt-separated moxibustion group and Western medicine group after treatment had significance(P0.05).PGF2α in medicine-separated moxibustion group compared with that in Western medicine group after treatment,there was significance(P0.01).PG2α in salt-separated moxibustion group compared with that in Western medicine group after treatment,there was significance(P0.05).PGE2 comparison between medicine-separated moxibustion group and salt-separated moxibustion group as well as that between medicine-separated moxibustion group and Western medicine group had significance(P0.01).PGF2α and PGE2 in medicine-separated moxibustion group,salt-separated moxibustion group and Western medicine group compared with those in blank control group,there was significance(P0.01).Conclusion:Moxibustion therapy is superior to oral medication for treating primary dysmenorrhea and medicine-separated moxibustion has obvious effect.Its mechanisms may be related to reducing menstrual PGF2α content in peripheral blood,elevating PGE2 concentration and reducing PGF2α/PGE2.
