The clinical observation of three dimensional conformal radiotherapy and conventional radiotherapy for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer

Objective To discuss the clinical observation of three dimensional conformal radiotherapy and conventional radiotherapy for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.Methods From November 2007 to December 2011,90 patients in our hospital with non-small cell lung cancer were divided into two groups.The observation group(three dimensional conformal radiotherapy group,n=45);the control group(conventional radiotherapy group,n=45).The curative effect of ultrasound examination,survival conditions and adverse reactions were compared,and a statistical analysis about the results was made.Results In the observation group,the total effective rate was 64.5%,the average survival period was 16.4±3.2 months,the survival rate for 3 years was 57.8%,the adverse reactions rate was 13.3%,and there was significant differences compared with the control group(P0.05.Conclusion The curative effect of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy is more significant for non-small cell lung cancer than traditional radiotherapy.It can prolong the survival time of patients,and the adverse reactions rate was lower.
