Efficacy Observation of Insulin Pump in the Therapy of Patients with Type II Diabetes

Objective:To observe the efficacy of intensive insulin pump therapy of patients with type II diabetes in the short term.Methods: There were 52 patients with type II diabetes who were randomly divided into two groups: the therapy group of 26 cases treated with insulin pump(CSⅡ),and the control group of 26 cases using the traditional method of multiple subcutaneous insulin infusion(MSⅡ).The fasting blood sugar,the postprandial blood glucose,the required time of blood sugar to reach the standard,dosage of insulin,and hypoglycemia occurrence times were evaluated in the patients of each of the two groups.Results: Compared with the control group,the time of blood sugar reach the standard,dosage of insulin,and hypoglycemia occurrence times in the CSⅡ group were significantly decreased(p 0.05).Conclusion: The CS II can control blood glucose quickly and smoothly,decrease the dosage of insulin,and reduce the probability of hypoglycemia occurrence.
