Abstract
Objective To explore the characteristics of normal pancreatic CT perfusion imaging and to find out the value of perfusion parameters,for further study and clinical application.Methods 45 cases without pancreatic diseases were examined for pancreatic CT perfusion from Feburery 2010 to March 2011,with continuous volume scan pattern,120 kV,150 mA,512×512 pixels,Siemens Sensation 64 CT scanner.The contrast agent Omnipaque 300 50 mL was injected into the median cubital vein at the rate of 5 mL/s,with a delay time of 6 s,data collection time of 40 s,slice thickness of 7.2 mm(4 slices/3 cm).The perfusion CT scan data were processed on the workstation of Syngo multi-modality workplace.The mean BF(blood flow),BV(blood volume),TTP(time to peak) and PS(permeability surface area product) were measured and statistically analyzed.Results The mean values of BF,BV,TTP and PS of the normal pancreas were(128.41±23.25)mL·min-1·100g-1,(203.75±31.29)mL·kg-1,(143.73±14.26)sec,(65.70±15.86) mL·min-1·100g-1 respectively,which showed no statistical difference for the location and sex.Conclusion The normal pancreas is a homogeneous perfusion organ with parameters of BF,BV,TTP and PS in accordance.
