Abstract
Objective To examine the relationship between AsAb in sera and semen and other indexes of semen of male infertiltity,and to find out the correlation between AsAb and infertility and mechanism of infertility.Methods AsAb in sera and semen and other indexes of semen from 127 cases of male infertile patients and 86 normal persons were measured with ELISA.Results The positive rate of AsAb in the sera of in- fertile patients(29.9%)was significantly higher than that of normal controles(4.7%),P0.05.The change of AsAb lev- el could cause a remarkable decrease of sperm activity.There was a significant positive correlation(P0.05).Conclusion AsAb is closely related to male infertility,and may lead to a remarkable decrease of sperm activity,but does not signifi- cantly affect sperm density and liquidization.
