On Construction Design Plan of Xujiahui Junction Station of Shanghai Rail Traffic

Shanghai Xujiahui junction station is the only large type transfer junction station of 3 urban lines in the network of Shanghai rail traffic. Since the station is located in the important CBD in Shanghai, its design is of high demands difficulties. The plan of Circling Ganghui Plaza was introduced in this paper, including its planning backgrounds, design difficulties and general plan. Moreover, several factors were emphasized such as stations' location, construction design, vertical design, transfer organizations and the joining of the under space. There is innovated idea flamed in this plan in the field of rail traffic planning design. It is believed to provide reference for similar projects.
