Clinical Observation of 30 Cases of Late-Stage Primary Hepatic Cancer Treated with Jianpi Yiliu Decoction

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy on late-stage primary hepatic cancer(PHC)treated with jianpi yiliu decoction.Methods Sixty cases of late-stage PHC were randomized into a treatment group(30 cases)and a control group(30 cases).The same therapy of western medicine was applied for the patients in the two groups.In the treatment group,jianpi yiliu decoction was supplemented.The treatment of 30 days made 1 session.The efficacy was evaluated in 2 sessions of treatment.The clinical efficacy,the integral of Chinese medicine syndrome,the integral of living quality,KPS score and adverse reaction after treatment were observed in the two groups.Results The total improvement rates were 83.3% and 60.0% in the treatment group and the control group respectively(P0.05).The integral of Chinese medicine syndrome,the integral of living quality and KPS score were all improved after treatment in the treatment group,presenting the significant difference as compared with those before treatment in the same group and those after treatment in the control group(P0.05).The integral of living quality and KPS score were reduced after treatment in the control group,presenting the significant difference as compared with those before treatment in the same group(P0.05).In comparison of adverse reaction between the two groups,the result in the treatment group was lower apparently than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Jianpi yiliu decoction relieves the clinical symptoms,improves the body immune function and living quality and prolongs the life span for the patients of late-stage PHC.
