Abstract

Objective:To explore the efficacy of mifepristone in treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding during perimenopausal period.Method:Seventysix patients with dysfunctional uterine bleeding admitted to author's hospital from March 2012 to April 2013 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 38 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with mifepristone and the control group was given medroxyprogesterone acetate. The effect was observed and compared between the two groups after three months of treatment.Result:The levels of FSH,LH,E2,P,and Hb of the two groups after treatment significantly changed compared with those before treatment(P0.05).After treatment, the levels of FSH,LH,E2 and P of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P0.05).The level of Hb of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P0.05).The total efficacy was 97.37% in observation group, and 81.58% in control group, with significant difference between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Mifepristone is effective in treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
