Curative effect evaluation on aerosol inhalation of ventolin and budesonide in the treatment of pediatric asthma

Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of aerosol inhalation of ventolin and budesonide in the treatment of pediatric asthma.Methods Eighty-eight cases of children with asthma were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 44 cases in each group,while control group adopted conventional treatment,observation group was given budesonide and salbutamol atomization inhalation treatment on the basis of conventional treatment,the disappearance time of main symptoms and physical sign,total effective rates of two groups were compared.Results In observation group,the disappearance time of cough,asthma suppress,wheezing sound,and length of stay were all much shorter than those in control group with statistical significance(P 0.05);the total efficiency of observation group(95.45%) was higher than that of control group(84.09%),comparison between the two groups,the difference was statistically significance(P 0.05).Conclusion Aerosol inhalation of budesonide combined with salbutamol is effective in the treatment of pediatric asthma with rapid action,definite effect,which is worthy of clinical application.
