The effects of aerosol inhalation of budesonide combined with salbutamol solution on asthma acute attack

Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of aerosol inhalation of budesonide combined with salbutamol solution on asthma acute attack in children.Method 76 cases of acute episode of asthma were randomly divided into two groups.The experiment group(38 cases) were treated with aerosol inhalation of budesonide combined with salbutamol solution in addition to the use of conventional antimicrobial agents and symptomatic treatment.The control group(n=38) were treated with conventional antimicrobial agents and symptomatic treatment only.One week after therapy effects of the medicine were observed in two groups.Results After treatment,the duration of cough,wheezing,cyanosis,rales,and symptoms in the treatment group was significantly shorter than that in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P0.05);the total effective rate in the treatment group was 97.4%,and 84.2% in the control group.There was significant difference between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Aerosol inhalation of budesonide combined with salbutamol solution in treating acute asthma attack appeared to have curative effect.
