Abstract

Objective To explore the significance of serum NO and hs-CRP levels in patients with coronary heart diseases(CHD).Methods Serum NO(with chemistry) and hs-CRP(with immune tarbility)levels were determined in 36 patients with coronary heart diseases and 35 controls. Results Serum NO concentration was significantly lower in CHD patients(P0.01),while the serum hs-CRP concentration was significantly higher in CHD patients(P0.01),than those in the controls.Serum NO levels were significantly negatively correlated with those of serum he-CRP(r=-0.2378,P0.01).Conclusion Combined detection of serum NO and hs-CRP may improve the diagnosis of CHD.
