Abstract

The high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) detection method was developed for the determination of isofraxidin and rosmarinic acid in Sarcandra glabra. The conditions of HPLC were the following: the mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid solution(80:20,V/V),the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,the column temperature was 35 ℃,the detection wavelength was 342 nm.The liner range was 0.011-2.214 μg/mLand 0.022-2.198 μg/mL of isofraxidin and rosmarinic acid, with the correlation coefficients of 0.999.The average recoveries of the two ingredient were 102.57% and 102.94% correspondingly in Sarcandra glabra. The method was successfully applied to the detemination of isofraxidin and rosmarinic acid in Sarcandra glabra.
