Abstract
ObjectiveTo optimize and compare the optimum extraction conditions on ultrasonic extraction process of Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBP).Methods The total content of LBP and the yield was used as indexes. Its content was detected by colorimetric assay. The used liquid ratio, extraction time, extraction temperature, and the solution pH value were studied by orthogonal experiment (4 factors and 3 levels) for extraction. The optimum extraction conditions on ultrasonic extraction process of LBP were determined, and the result was testified. Results The optimum extraction conditions on ultrasonic extraction was A3B3C2D1,took the total content of LBP and the yield as indexes. Conclusion Ultrasonic extraction is extracted with a high rate of LBP,short operation time, less destruction of active ingredients, and stable result. This method can be promoted.
