Renal protection effect of ulinastatin on severe acute pancreatitis patients

Abstract

Objective To investigate the renal protection effect of ulinastatin on severe acute pancreatitis patients.Methods 78 patients with severe acute pancreatitis were divided into control group(39 cases)and treatment group(39 cases) according to different treatments.Control group was treated with conventional treatment,treatment group received similar therapy besides intravenous injection of ulinastatin 200 000 U,2 times daily.BUN and Cr was recorded in 0 d,3 d,7 d after treatment separately.Results Compared with control group,the incidence of acute kidney injury,mortality,BUN and Cr of treatment group were significantly lower(P0.05).Conclusion Ulinastatin has renal protective effects on patients with severe acute pancreatitis.
