Abstract

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects of phacoemulsification and the IOL implantation, also evaluate surgical methods, techniques, prophylaxis and teatment of complication for it.Methods The surgery was performs on 495 eyes of patients with cataract. Results By the first postoperative week,147 eyes(29.70%) corrected vision was 1.0 or better after 3months,the corrected vision of 1.0 or better was 341 eyes (68.90%),0.5 or better 476 eyes (96.16%).The rupture of posterior capsule and iris injury were main operative complications, postoperative were corneal endothelium opatity. Conclusion Phacoemulsification and the IOL implantation could reduce early postoperative rehabilitationtime. The key to the success for phaco is the practiced surgical methods and skill.
