Abstract

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects of phacoemulsification and intraocular lens(IOL) implantation. Methods The phacoemulsification and intraocular lens(IOL) implantation with both hands were performed on 9240 eyes of 9025 patients with age-related cataract. The ages of patients were 45~101 years old.Follow-up for 2 weeks~12 months. Results 8755 eyes(97.91%) reached the vision of 0.5 and 7315 eyes(81.81%) reached the vision of 1.0.Complication reduced evidently with the accumulation of the experience. Conclusion The phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation have good points. It could reduce early postoperative reaction and improve the vision speedly. The therapeutic effects is better satisfaction with accumulation the operative cases and experience.
