Clinical efficacy and antibacterial activity evaluation of Cefdinir and Cefteram Pivoxil in the treatment of bacterial infections

Objective:To evaluate the condition of Cefdinir in the treatment of mild and moderate bacterial infections.Methods:Adopt randomized controlled clinial study of Cefdinir and Cefteram were given the treatment with dose of 100-200 mg,tid for 7-14 d.According to the symptom,physical sign,and the results of examination,the clinical efficacy of Cefdinir was judged.Through the bacteriological isolation and culture,evaluated the bacterial eradication rates.And drug susceptibility were determined with drug sensitive slips method.Results:The cure rates of Cefdinir and Cefteram were 78.1% and 77.3%,and the effective rates were 97.1% and 95.5% respectively.The bacterial eradication rates of the two groups were 97.7%,92.2% respectively.The susceptibility rates were 91.5% and 93.8%.Adverse events rate were 6.3% and 8.8% respectively in the two groups.And there were no statistical significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Cefdinir is an effective and well tolerated antibacterial agent for the treatment of mild and moderate bacterial infections.
