One-bath one-step dyeing of polyester/cotton fabric with disperse/reactive dyes

Abstract
Novel disperse dye T-XD resistant to alkali and salt,and reactive dye C-XD resistant to high temperature are employed to dye polyester/cotton fabric in one-bath one-step process.The results show that the dyeing effects produced by one-bath one-step process are equal to that by traditional two-step method.Moreover,the dyeing time is decreased to about 5.5 h and the cost of production is enormously reduced.
