Abstract

One-bath-two-step dyeing of cotton polyester blends is carried out with new reactive dyes DH and high-energy disperse dyes.Initial dyeing with reactive DH can be carried out at middle and high temperature and fixed at low alkaline conditions. The dyes have the advantages of good levelness, reproducibility and thermal stability. This new dyeing process features higher efficiency, better color fastness and lower cost compared with the conventional two-bath-two-step process.
