Clinical Observation of the Acute Exacerbations of Asthma Patients Treated by Huayu Dingchuan Decoction

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of the acute exacerbations of asthma patients treated by Huayu Dingchuan Decoction.Methods:130 cases of the acute exacerbations of asthma patients,aged 18 to 70 years old,in Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University,were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,both groups were treated based on routine treatment,but the treatment group added Huayu Dingchuan Decoction.4 weeks was a treatment course.Before and after treatment,patients were observed the changes in the lung function,symptoms and signs.Results:(1)Patients in the two groups after treating four weeks,pulmonary function was obviously improved than that before treatment(P0.05).Four weeks after treatment,the FEV1% pre,FEV1 / FVC,PEF % pre improvement in treatment group were better than those in control group(P0.05).(2)The clinical symptom scores in treatment group were better than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The foundation treatment combined with Huayu Dingchuan Decoction can better improve the clinical symptoms and lung ventilation function of the acute exacerbations of asthma patients.
