Abstract
Objective To study the value of urinary microalbumin(MALB)and blood β2-microglobulin(β2-MG)detection in early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods The urinary MALB,blood β2-MG,blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and serum creatinine(Cr)in early DN group, simple diabetes mellitus group(DM group)and control group were detected by the method of radio-immunity.Results There was no significant difference in urinary MALB and blood Cr between the DM group and the control group(P0.05).There were significant differences in blood β2-MG and blood BUN between the above two groups(P0.05 or P0.01).In the early DN group, all the four indexes significantly increased compared with those in the other two groups(P 0.01).Conclusion Urinary MALB and blood β2-MG are sensitive and reliable indexes in the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy.
