Abstract

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value for early renal damage about the glycated hemoglobin( HbA1c) urine microalbumin( urinary mALB),urinaryβ2- microglobulin( urinary β2- MG) in the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy( DN). Method100 patients who were selected from department of physical examination, outpatient and hospitalization were divided into group A: normal control group with 40 cases, group B: diabetes without nephropathy group with 36 cases and group C: diabetic nephropathy group with 24 cases. The 60 patients with diabetes and the 40 healthy controls were tested urinary mALB and urinary β2- MG and HbA1 c 1evels using nephelometry, and the results were statistically analyzed. Results These were significant differences in urinary mALB and urinary β2- MG and HbA1 c between the above the DM group and the DN group and the healthy group( P 0. 01). Conclusion The combined detection of urinary mALB and urinary β2- MG and HbA1 c has important clinical value in the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy.
