Abstract

Objective To compare the biopsy result by colposcopy before operation and pathology result after loop electrical excision procedure(LEEP) in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN),and to evaluate the value of colposcopy and LEEP in diagnosis and treatment of CIN.Methods Biopsy by colposcopy before operation and biopsy after LEEP were analyzed and compared in 350 patients with skeptical CIN.Results The total coincidence rate of pathological results between cervical biopsy by colposcopy and LEEP was 72.57%,with 55 cases upgraded(15.71%) and 41 cases downgraded(11.71%).Conclusion The biopsy by colposcopy may miss the CIN or early invasive carcinoma;LEEP can provide a more complete specimens, and further screening cervical cancer, and redeem the lack of colposcopy effectively.
