Abstract

Objective:To explore the effect of ligustrazin on dynamic changes of lipid peroxidation in hepatic ischamia reperfusion injury (HIRI) and its mechanism. Methods:Using the HIRI model. 20 rabbis were randomly divided into control group(n=10) and ligustrazin group (n=10). The malondialdehyde(MDA) content, xanthine oxidase(XO) activity, superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity and alanine aminotransferase(ALT) activity in plasma were observed during pre ischamia、ischamia 25min, reperfusion 25min, reperfusion 60min and reperfusion 120min. Results:With time of ischamia reperfusion continued, MDA, XO and ALT elavated and SOD reduced remarkably step by step in control group. All above parameters of ligustrazin group, as compared to control group, showed significant differences at total time points of reperfusion. Conclusion: Ligustrazin has notable anti lipid peroxidation effect on HIRI by inhibiting oxygen free radicals generation and strengthening scavenging oxygen free radicals.
