Abstract
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis in Ganzhou City,so as to provide scientific evidence for controlling pulmonary tuberculosis.Method The data were analyzed with the descriptive epidemiological method. Results A total of 77 194 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were reported from 2001 to 2010 in Ganzhou, and the average incidence rate was 95.86 / l00 000 per year, while the highest incidences of pulmonary tuberculosis was 154.00 /100 000 in 2005.The incidence rate of small age group was obviously lower than that of middle and old age groups. The rate increased with age that people older than 70 years old had peak incidence rate as 386.33 / l00 000;The ratio of men to women was 3.09: 1 and farmers accounted for 70.66% which was the most parts of pulmonary tuberculosis cases. Conclusions We should continue to strictly implement modern tuberculosis control strategy, strengthen the discovery and treatment of farmers pulmonary tuberculosis and pay attention to the prevention and control of the senile cases.
