Clinical observation on low-dow Mifepristone in treating perimenopause dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Abstract

Objective To study the efficacy of low-dow mifepristone in treating perimenopause dysfunctional uterine bleeding.Methods 100 patients coming from June 2007 to June 2011 took mifepristone tablets 6.25mg every night for 3 months,observed the therapeutic effects.Results All cases were amenorrhoea during treating,and the levers of E2,P and PRL had been down,especially E2 and P had significant differences before and after treating(P0.05),while LSH and LH changed little(P0.05);The symptom of anemis were improved,and no one case appeared endometrial thickening(P0.05).Conclusions Low-dow mifepristone in treating perimenopause dysfunctional uterine bleeding is an effective and safe method.
