Abstract
OBJECTIVE An HPLC method was developed to determine the camphor in Compound Benzoic Tincture.METHODS It was determined on a XDB C18 column, using methanol-water(80∶20)as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1,and detection wavelength was 288nm.The column temperature was 25℃.RESULTS The linear relationship of the peak area was 0.4~2mg·mL-1by HPLC,with a regression coefficient of 0.9995.Average recovery was 100.07%,RSD=1.0%.CONCLUSION The method was simple, rapid and accurate. It can be used for the determination of camphor in Compound Benzoic Tincture.
