Clinical Observation of Ziyin Huayu Ningwei Decoction for the Treatment of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis:A Report of 46 Cases

Abstract

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Ziyin Huayu Ningwei Decoction (ZHND) for the treatment of clronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).Methods:Eighty -three CAG patients were randomized into 2 groups:the control group(n = 37) received western medicine,and the treatment group(n =46) received ZHND combining with western medicine.Results:The cure rate was 45.7%in the treatment group and 18.9%in the control group,and the total effective rate was 91.4%in the treatment group and 62.2%in the control group,the difference being significant between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:ZHND exerts certain effect for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis.
