Abstract
Senile mice models were established by galactose to study the anti-senile function and mechanism of Lycium Ruthenicum Murr.pigment.Body weights,SOD activities and MDA contents were determined after different doses of the pigments were given to mice.Result showed that the activities of SOD in both sera and various organs of experimental groups were higher than that of the senile model groups, while MDA contents were markedly lower than the latter. This research indicated that Lycium Ruthenicum Murr.pigment could delay senility.
