Abstract

Objective:To explore the significance of serum allergens detection in children with allergic diseases. Methods:The detection of results of serum allergens in 164 children with allergic diseases were analyzed retrospectively. Results:Among 164 children with allergic diseases,147 children were found with positive serum total IgE,the positive rate was 89.6%.The positive rates in inhalation group, food group, and mixed group were 70.7%,18.9%,and 18.9%,respectively.The positive detection rate of allergens in the children with urticaria was the highest, followed by bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, and eczema.Among the positive allergens detected, the most common allergens in inhalation group and food group were household dust mites(116 cases,70.7%) and shrimp crab(31 cases,18.9%) respectively. Conclusion:Inhaled allergens and food allergens are important causes inducing allergic diseases in children.Serum allergens detection is helpful to understand the allergic state of the patients, assist diagnosis of allergic diseases, and provide reliable reference for making environmental interventional measures and immunotherapy for the children with allergic diseases.
