Esomeprazole Combined with Levofloxacin and Ornidazole for Helicobacter Pylori-Positive Chronic Gastritis

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of esomeprazole combined with levofloxacin and ornidazole in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)-positive chronic gastritis.Methods According to the order of admission,80 Hp-positive patients with chronic gastritis were divided into two groups,with 40 patients in each group.The observation group was treated with entericcoated tablets of esomeprazole magnesium,dispersible tablets of ornidazole,and levofloxacin tablets.The control group was treated with enteric-coated tablets of esomeprazole magnesium,amoxicillin capsules,and dispersible tablets of clarithromycin.Hp eradication rate,adverse reactions and curative effect were observed in both groups.Results The total effective rate and Hp eradication rate in observation group(95.0% and 85.0%,respectively)were significantly higher than those in control group(75.0% and 70.0%,respectively)(P0.05).No adverse reactions were found in both groups.Conclusion Combined treatment with esomeprazole,levofloxacin and ornidazole is an effective and safe option and leads to a high Hp eradication rate in Hp-positive patients with chronic gastritis.
