Abstract
The effect of variety and phytohormones on anther culture was studied with five hybrid indica rice varieties. The phytohormone KT had different effect on the callus induction rate. The best medium for callus induction was 2,4-D2.0+ KT1.0+NAA3.0 and the callus induction rate was 21.21%.The green plantlet differentiation rate in the regreneration medium with 6-BA 0.5mg·L-1 and KT 2.0mg·L-1 was 28.8% higher than that with other phytohormone; There were significant differ-ence in callus induction rate and green plantlet differentiation rate in different materials.
