Effect of mifepristone combined with Guizhifuling capsule in treatment of uterine fibroids patients: A clinical observation of 124 cases

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of mifepristone Guizhifuling capsule for the treatment of uterine fibroids.Methods A total of 124 cases uterine fibroids patients from March 2009 to March 2012 in our hospital were studied.They were randomly divided into two groups of experimental and control groups,each group had 62 patients.The control group was given the treatment of patients with oral mifepristone tablets,the experimental group Guizhi Fuling Capsule patients in the control group on the basis of the combination.Results After treatment,the two groups of patients with uterine fibroids after treatment were significantly smaller(P 0.01),and improvement of the effect of experimental group patients after treatment was significantly better than the control group,two groups was statistically significant(P 0.01).Experimental group patients’ total efficiency(91.9%) was significantly higher(79.0%) than the control group,the two groups were statistically significant(P 0.05).After treatment,the occurrence of adverse reactions in patients of the control group was 8.1%,the experimental group treatment of adverse events was 6.5%,the in cidence of adverse reactions of the two groups of patients showed no statistical significant difference(χ2 = 0.0998,P 0.05).Conclusion Mifepristone and Guizhifuling capsule to treat uterine fibroids,has significant clinical effect.
